Thyme Garlic Butter

I made this butter last week to top off some great New York Strips. I had fresh Thyme in my herb garden, so I softened some butter, added a lot of garlic, sea salt, and some pepper. I’m always trying to recreate the flavor from Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, the smell coming out of their kitchen is amazing, warm, nutty, brown melted butter, on top of seared 950 degree cooked steaks. I have to say I think this new recipe on top of anything is my new favorite. If you are not into steak, you could put it on top of chicken, fish, pork, or vegetables, even pasta would be yummy. Thyme Garlic Butter:

1 stick unsalted butter softened

2 Tbs Fresh Thyme

7 cloves garlic chopped

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Mix altogether in a bowl, and with some saran wrap roll into a little log. Forming as you go. Refrigerate for at least an hour. Use as much as you like on Steak, Seafood, Poultry, pork, vegetables and pasta.
