Hi Jenn, thanks so much for the compliments on the pictures. The lighting is not the greatest here in the cottage but I'm working on it. Let me know how you like the Baked Potato Soup? It is one of my favorites! Talk to you soon and hope your photography business is going well!

Hi Pam, thanks so much for the nice comment and for passing the word along about my new blog. I'm having so much fun with it. It has been challenging for sure, but I'm learning a lot, especially how to have lots of patience with technology! Thanks again, Stacey
I just found your blog through foodgawker, and I bookmarked your site in my favorite food blogs. I also read your “About Me” section. Our only child will be leaving for college next month, and she will be majoring in film and television too. I guess this means my husband and I will be emptynesters also?
Hi Ni, thanks so much for commenting on my site, I so appreciate you bookmarking my site as one of your favorite food blogs, it really means a lot to me! It is such a small world that your daughter will be majoring in Film and television too. My husband and I are just now getting use to both of them being gone, they say it takes 6 months. It is not an easy thing to go through, so I feel for you. I have now set my passion on my new food blog and it helps keep me busy. Thanks again, for responding and I wish you and your husband an easy transition into Empty Nest life! Stacey
I forgot to add that she will be going to college in NYC too. It still hasn’t sunk in yet, but I guess it will soon… way too soon.
It has been so hot this summer I haven’t baked bread in months, but I will definitely try the artisan bread as soon as it cools down a bit. We don’t have to wait on the Thai wraps though, and I actually have all the ingredients on hand. I look forward to reading your blog!
Hi Ni, I'm sure your daughter will have a great experience in NYC, our boys love it there, even though it is all the way across the country from us. I hope you live closer for your sake. It has been extremely hot here too. I hope you enjoy the Thai Curry Chicken Salad Wraps, they really are refreshing in this heat! Let me know how you like them? Thanks, Stacey

Got your blog from your mom, and enjoyed your comments about Franny. She’s quite a gal! I tell her story to most of my classes, and they don’t always believe me, but I assure them the facts are true. There must be something in that Oregano! i get mine through pizza!
Good luck and keep doing what you love.
Thanks Cousin Tony, hope you are well! I appreciate your nice comment about my blog and Nana. Feel free to pass my name along to anyone that cooks, I am hoping to make this into some sort of career someday. There definitely must be something in that Oregano although I only took the oil once and felt like I smelled like a big pizza all day! It works for her! Hi to Rhonda, and thanks again for writing! Love, Stacey

Hi Gail, I certainly didn't learn how to cook from the L1011 gallery! I burned my hands plenty of times though. Remember sticking your fingers in the scrambled eggs to see if they were warm enough? You are so kind to leave a comment, and follow my blog, I really appreciate it! Love, Stacey
Hi Stacey –
Great day to pull some recipes together for the upcoming weekend with my girls all coming home. We usually take one afternoon to make some of our favorite dishes and desserts along with some untried recipes, I have copied your French Breakfast Puffs and Gingersnaps. Can’t wait to incorporate these into our annual Thanksgiving tradition. Love ya girl! Happy Holidays to you and your boys/men!
Hi Reneta, I haven't been on here for five months, so am just now reading your lovely comment! I so love French Breakfast Puffs, the smell from the oven on Thanksgiving Morning, and then the way when you bite into one, the butter and cinnamon just burst in your mouth with happiness! Pete's favorite cookies are the Gingersnaps, and you can't go wrong with those either! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, Love you girl, love, Stacey
