Great Grandma’s Homemade Egg noodles!
I promised the recipe and here it is! My Great Grandmother’s Homemade Egg noodles. You talk about complete comfort food, this is the ultimate winter warmth for your soul! These wonderful little noodles are so easy to make, the hardest part is taking the time to cut them. I have used them in my Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe that I will post soon, but most recently for Thanksgiving. They are just cooked in Chicken Broth, preferably homemade. Our family has always served them over mashed potatoes for the Holiday.
Sixteen days and counting until our youngest son P.J. get’s home for Christmas. Morgan will arrive two days after that. I can’t wait, I’m beyond excited. I finally got all our decorations up this week and the house is all ready for some life again. I can’t wait to see the boy’s come and go even if it’s a few minutes a day. I look forward to the noise and the hustle and bustle of friends zipping in and out. The laughter and the whistling of our two precious men! We plan to have my Mother and my Grandmother over for Christmas Eve. On Christmas day Pete, Morgan, P.J. and I will go to the movies and watch basketball. I can’t wait to make all their favorite foods, homemade baked ziti with Sunday gravy, homemade mac and cheese, gingerbread cookies and sugar cookies. My wish this year for Christmas is that everyone would have a friend or loved one to be with on this joyous Holiday Season! Please make these delicious noodles part of your Holiday tradition! Let me know how they turn out. Thanks, Stacey

I’m sure your great grandmother would be so happy to see her recipe in print for all to see and that you’ve kept the tradition of making them. They are definitely the best.

I am so happy to have this recipe and that it was passed down from generation to generation. I hope our family will be making these noodles for a long time. Thanks, Stacey

Love the shot of all the noodle laid out and cut – very pretty and great lighting. It’s freezing here in NY so I’m sure the guys will be happy to wolf down a bowl or two of this!
Stacey
Hi Sydney, thanks for the compliment on the photo, coming from you that means a lot! Let me know if you make these for Kramer, they are so comforting when it's cold outside! Thanks, Stacey

I am a huge fan of homemade pasta and these noodles are the best I’ve ever had! Your recipe looks easy to follow so I think I will try making some myself.
Stacey

I have never made homemade pasta but absolutely love your egg noodles, so may give it a try!

My Great Grandma would be so happy that I have passed along her recipe for Homemade Egg noodles. They are so good on their own, just cooked in chicken broth, or in Homemade Chicken Noodle soup! Thanks for commenting, Stacey
